But, I couldn't be 2K MT more incorrect. Some players of the Chicago Bulls have been docked points for their performance as they did this year, and there was no player earning a '90' overall score or higher.15 players from the league have earned 90 or better, reflecting the general consensus within this league that Bulls do not have a star that could lead Chicago to a title. With the exception of Chicago's All-Star twosome, 2K seems overall dismissive of the talent on this team.

Despite the fact that Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn't be more off in its assessment of how great the currently Chicago Bulls are.2K has four currently Bulls players who are ranked among the best 100 players in the game. DeRozan and LaVine take the 19th and 23rd positions respectively, while Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59 and Lonzo Ball comes at the top of the list at No. 73. Surprisingly, Andre Drummond is rated as the fifth-best player in Chicago and barely makes it to the top five.

After that, the team's rating as a whole is in a state of disarray. The Bulls' backcourt takes huge hits, as Alex Caruso, Coby White, and Dosunmu were all demoted one spot when the most people would expect them to be even better next year. Dosunmu's overall score of 76 is especially shocking, given that the player just won All-Rookie accolades. Fellow First Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal figures to Dosunmu (and was heavily dominated by Ayo in head-to head matchups) as a starter , but earned a higher overall score.

The rookie Dalen Terry was also assigned a ridiculous 70 overall rating that puts him in the same category as even past Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr., and Tomas Satoransky. Three of them aren't even included on an NBA roster, and the fourth is only a minimum "prove it" contract that will shortly be joining the other three players 2K23 MT if he doesn't step up with a huge improvement.
