The latest update: Activision is revealing a bit more about the forthcoming Destiny sequel that Activision President Eric Hirshberg reiterated is "on schedule for release in the autumn."

"[W]e've had a big announcement scheduled and I'm going let the game do the majority of the talking with WoTLK Classic Gold, however I'll provide you with some general information," he said during an investor Q&A today. "I believe our team as well as our wonderful allies at Bungie are doing a good job on two areas. One, if you're among many players that have committed to Destiny 1 and have put lots of hours and effort into the game, you're bound to enjoy this game and there's more to love in this game.

"For anyone who hasn't played Destiny and hasn't tried it it in long, we think we've created a sequel sure to provide plenty to offer them as well. The premise of the game is a cinematic adventure that has been a major center of attention with a fantastic ensemble of memorable and real-life characters, and several very appealing methods to bring the game closer for a novice player. With no loss of anything our players are accustomed to and enjoy, we've improved the game's accessibility to people who simply wants to enjoy an enjoyable, relaxed first-person action."

The original story continues.

Activision Blizzard today reported earnings for its fourth quarter as well as the full-year ending December 31. The company didn't provide the sales figures for its games, however there were some interesting lessons to be learned.

The first is that the "full" sequel Destiny is currently on the schedule of the company's releases for 2017. The release date hasn't been confirmed, but Activision has stated that the game with cheap WoTLK Gold will "broaden the reach of the franchise worldwide." The game will also come with additional contentthat Activision claims "sets the foundation for growth."
