Blizzard is confirming that Diablo 4 Gold is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely have to wait until after launch to play with them. The game's director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable interview that reimaging sets in a manner that is compatible with Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be likely to be available for launch until next year. However, the team is looking at the possibility of incorporating them into it's live services.

"As we've been developing the game, we thought we could develop sets in a completely new approach to the ones we've seen in Diablo 3. However, we wanted time to bring them into the game in an order that could work well with the rest of Diablo 4, so you won't be seeing sets when you first start into the game." Shely explains. "We consider sets to be interesting, and we'd like to create them in a way that is right - which is why we're taking a look over for our Live service."

"There's an iconic staff within the demo that changes the spell's fireball spell into the triple fireball spell" ex-game director Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in 2019. "The different is that, as you can imagine the set you have in the live version of Diablo 3 gives you bonuses which can be a million times more. I believe we're designing the game in the moment buy cheap Diablo IV Gold to be a less constrained in order to avoid falling into that growing power-curve."
