Meet Aisling, a physician, and Ciaran, who works within the film industry. They were married on 26 June 2018, around the border of Dordogne and Lot et Garonne, France, on a beautiful day planned to perfection by the team.

"We love everything French, the word what, the wine, the meals, the elements. The owners of the Manoir are two of the loveliest people you can meet and also the Manoir itself and also the grounds are beautiful…We wanted the vibe to become relaxed, fun, and private."

Aisling and Ciaran first met in Dublin in 2012, even though they didn't continue their first date until 12 months later.

"Ciaran proposed on the camping trip around the beautiful Northumberland coast, and that we were engaged for twelve months before the marriage."

Aisling chose a stylish crepe gown with cap sleeves and delightful applique guipure flowers in the waist and round the dramatic back, with delicate illusion tulle.

Aisling borrowed her veil from her Maid of Honour, as well as on her feet wore comfy block heels To complete her outfit, she wore earrings along with a bracelet, which had been previously gifted to her among her bridesmaids.

Ciaran wore an incredible bottle green suit with an excellent bow tie handmade by his sister. The Best Man and the groomsmen wore matching light wool trousers with white shirts and braces.

Aisling's nieces wore sweet and dreamy tulle and lace flower girl dresses from having a silk flower crown of cheerful daisies.

"When we first got engaged, of my six bridesmaids, two were in Australia, one is in New York, one out of Canada, one out of Belfast, and one out of Dublin, and I was within the UK." Go

"Despite this, it had been a relatively easy process. We opted for three bridesmaids in skirts and tops and three in navy dresses, plus they all looked amazing."

"My dad walked me on the aisle towards the song Higher Love, sang by our friend and combined with violin, played by my among my bridesmaids and her sister."

The cool, weathered stone walls from the old manoir provided welcome rest from the summer heat, and also the space was clothed for a feast, with garlands of greenery around the chandeliers, sparkling festoon lights, and long tables laid with classic white linens, decorated with increased seasonal foliage and pillar candles.

"Despite the heat, it had been just this type of joyous loving occasion enjoyed by all."

"My amazing sister spent two days before the wedding, with a little help from my mom and sister-in-law, making the very best three-tiered chocolate biscuit cake. The bottom two layers were more conventional and also the top would be a vegan recipe, and am good. It was devoured."

The evening festivities began having a joyous and upbeat first dance in the newly married couple, to Hall & Oates You Make My Dreams, then live music from band Vanderbilt – friends of Aisling and Ciaran.

"I loved every minute, preparing with my bridesmaids and family within the morning, the ceremony was particularly special, seeing us and friends enjoying themselves… I think the large smile in every photograph says everything, it was the very best day."
