There is no right or wrong way to play poker. You can read more about poker and how to play correctly at https://www.pekarstas.com/, but for now let's talk about the basic concepts.
The goal of the game is to increase your chips, which means winning your opponent's chips.
Winning chips can be done in two ways:
1. Provide a strong combination (hand) when your cards are stronger than your opponent's cards.
2. Getting your opponent to fold (surrender), thanks to your bet.
Your opponent must fold when he thinks his hand is weaker than yours.
Each game starts with the distribution of cards, two cards to the players in closed (that is, the opponents do not see each other's cards), and gradually five common, open cards on the table.
The player must combine their cards (hand) with the cards on the table and get a combination.
After the cards are dealt to the players, the cards on the table are dealt and opened in a certain sequence:
1. Three closed cards are dealt on the table (PREFLOOD).
The first player bets, then, in a circle players support the bet (call), or raise (raises). The game will not continue and the cards on the table will not open until all players have equalized their bets.
2. three common cards are revealed (FLOP).
Players now see the main cards on the table, and can analyze their odds. Then the players continue to bet, and, just as in the preflop, the game will continue after everyone has evened the bets.
3) The fourth (THORN) and fifth (RIVER) are dealt according to the same principle.
After the fifth card is dealt, the final bets are placed. As a rule, by this point, two or three players remain, the rest have discarded their cards during the deal.
And so, the remaining players have bet, equalized and then open their two cards (open). The winner is the player whose hand is stronger.
And, of course, the winner takes the pot (chips, the amount of bets made by the players during the deal).
Then the game continues, the next hand comes, the cards are dealt again, and players bet again. Throughout the game, the chips go from one player to the next until one player takes all the chips.
