Today's country house venue is filled with color and character, called the perfect weekend retreat for the couple to savor a relaxed celebration – an attractive juxtaposition of a formal setting as well as an informal wedding. Connie and Ed, both construction project managers were married in the beautiful, Shropshire around 7 July 2018.
"We wanted somewhere where all of our guests could stay for that weekend to ensure that we could possess a 'wedding weekend' – meaning we've got to spend additional time with our friends and family. Walcot Hall is quirky, and loved the unusual accommodation, as the ballroom and gardens are spectacular."
Connie's spectacular gown uses its stylish, clean lines and full skirt within the most amazing textured fabric – a unique design.
The flower girls wore pretty floral dresses for girls, and also the bridesmaids wore maxi dresses with their very own shoes and fresh flowers in their hair.
We've featured photographer Lucy Sugden-Smith, on tour, also it's a delight to include another colorful, glorious choice of images to that particular body of labor.
"We happened across Lucy using a recommendation from another photographer and we are so glad we did. Some photographers perfect the things they're doing with many years of practice however the great ones just possess a natural flair for this, and that is exactly what Lucy has. She had us develop a questionnaire ahead of time so she could gauge the type of photographs we wanted and she or he was in a position to guide us with what would work best so when."
Ed wore an easy grey three-piece suit from together having a burgundy tie and pocket square, whilst the groomsmen wore complementary grey suits, also from Burton. Go
"We met at the office. We were friends for a few years before we got together. We got engaged overlooking Mont Blanc in Chamonix in France. It was 10 months towards the day from your engagement that we got married."
After dinner the tables were cleared away and also the ballroom was adopted for just the best purpose – dancing! began the festivities.
"We didn't select a first dance song, we chose to dance to whichever song this guitar rock band played first – which became You Don't Love Me by Dawn Penn – not probably the most romantic song but quite funny within the end!"
For Ed, the entire weekend could not happen to be more perfect, and here he shares some lovely words about how exactly it all felt.
"I'd echo Connie's sentiments; the venue, the glorious countryside, incredible weather, and also the celebrations just amplified an amount still have been probably the most perfect day with no of them."
"The whole weekend only agreed to be perfect from beginning to finish. Just having all of your favorite people in one location at once and seeing all of them mingling together was brilliant. We had an entourage of friends and family kids with us too. and I loved getting them there as part of the wedding and seeing just how much they enjoyed themselves."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Do what feels best for you – don't feel pressured to submit to traditions or what friends and family expect. We did just as we wanted, so had no regrets."
"Go using the flow – I'll admit that I can be considered a bit of a control freak, so I needed to tell myself that around the day I needed to let everything go and whatever happened, happened. I would be marrying Ed which was what was important. I was able to do it, and loved every minute, the small hiccups!"
