They married outdoors on 1 September 2018 within the orchard in Brookthorpe, Gloucestershire having a reception locked in yurts.

Natalie and Max met at university through their shared love of music. Max is a trombonist and trumpeter who plays in wedding bands and also the whilst Natalie is a singer in addition to a scientific researcher – she's recently finished her Ph.D. staring at the origin of life on Earth.

"We met at university with the Jazz Society. We lived together in London for a few years before moving to Valencia in Spain for 6 months while I was writing up my Ph.D. thesis. The creative bride was keen to create her gown and developed a flowing, open-backed silk dress with lace detailing along with a halter-neck bodice, cinched in at the waist. It looks wonderful within the orchard setting and is perfect for that relaxed vibe during the day.

"Always a creatively-minded person, I wanted to create and make my very own dress like a personal challenge. After seeking some inspiration online I went having a sheath halter-top style."

For the relaxed ceremony, Max decided on a light grey linen suit, which he wore Design brogue shoes in burgundy leather, an EcoDrive watch, and personalized wooden cufflinks from NorthMadeGoods on Etsy.

The gorgeous late summer weather resulted in the ceremony might be held underneath the fruit trees within the orchard at Day's Cottage, which was simply dressed with wooden chairs for the guests. The couple's friend, Callum Gillies, led the personal ceremony to some soft acoustic soundtrack.

"Probably our favorite bit was the ceremony itself, as it brought home how lucky I was to have one another and to possess surrounded ourselves with your amazing and loving family and friends. We couldn't have asked for any better bunch to invest that most amazing weekend with." Go

"We chose Emma on her natural documentary/candid photography. She kindly provided us with an engagement shoot in London where could meet and obtain to know her a bit which was lovely and incredibly helpful. On your day she was joined by Alice like a second shooter on our big day who was also great and simple to work with. We were thrilled to get the final shots, they're all amazing and extremely capture the spirit during the day."

"We hired PA gear from your friends for background music along with a good few hours of dancing after dinner, than were built with a silent disco supplied by until the wee hours from the morning. It would be a fantastic experience and we'd recommend a silent disco for entertainment!"
