Marketing manager wed CrossFit Gym owner on 22 May 2021, within an intimate outdoor ceremony and tipi reception within the grounds of near Hereford. The day would be a relaxed, romantic affair, using the muted colours of dusky pink, peach and cream and pretty, handmade macramé elements to charm their invited number of thirty guests.
Charlotte selected her classic gown from FeelTimes and wore it having a simple, flowing veil.
"I wanted a vintage, elegant and timeless wedding outfit – nothing too fancy or available yet something which was still special."
The style during the day was romantic and relaxed, with lots of fresh blooms in muted pastel colours in addition to dainty fairy lights and candles.
Will and Charlotte met via a mutual friend on the night out and kept bumping into each other for a couple of months before finally going on the cinema date.
"The rest is history. I will propose the glamping trip to Pembrokeshire. We were only said to be engaged for 1.5 years but because we'd to postpone it 3 times, it became two along with a half years."
"We moved our wedding from June 2020 to August 2020 to May 2021. The most important thing for all of us was that the venue, tipi and caterers could do our date."
"We were lucky that during the time of rearranging, most of our guests couldn’t do or book anything due to lockdowns therefore we knew most of them could be able to make whatever date we set."
Charlotte's bridesmaid wore a pale dusky pink gown.
"Her accessories were something special from me, which included rose gold, drop earrings inside a tone to complement the colour from the dress along with a rose gold bracelet."
Will was dapper inside a navy suit and tie from having a contrasting, light grey waistcoat.
The page boy is at cute dungarees and a shirt whilst the flower girl wore lace flower girl dresses.
After the ceremony, the newly-weds and guests made their way to the house for the drinks and canapé reception within the rose gardens, with live music.
"My favourite part of the day was the reception drinks. The sun was shining, it had been the first opportunity I'd needed to speak to your guests and see some of them inside a very very long time and I knew I had the rest of the day still in the future."
The tipi was put down beautifully with picnic tables, candles and fresh flowers, ready for that wedding breakfast supplied.
"Broadfield also offers a great flow; we've got married within the stunning fold yard after which guests walked with the house towards the gorgeous south-facing rose gardens for drinks and canapés, then to the lawn that has breathtaking views for the reception. It meant guests were always mesmerised by each stage of the wedding that is what I wanted."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Make one hell of the spreadsheet and detail everything down in there which means you've first got it all in one place."
