It is my great pleasure to talk about the beautiful wedding of Polly and Jack along with you today. On 22 October 2021, primary school teacher wed scaffolder Jack at, Runwell near Wickford in Essex having a warm and romantic reception afterward near Heybridge, Maldon, Essex. Originally planned for 27 March 2021, the modification in date because of the Covid pandemic allowed the bride to be to indulge her fascination with pumpkins and warm autumn tones within the styling of her venue.
Polly visited the bridal shop online, Essex to pick up her flowing FeelTimes gown. I love the fitted, leafy bodice combined with the dreamy, tulle balloon sleeves.
"I originally was built with a dress from a different shop however when we moved the marriage I had the sensation that the initial dress wasn't me. I wanted a quirky and different dress to represent my style and my first dress was way too classic for me personally. My dress only agreed to be perfect. I always wanted a long-sleeved dress however the balloon, 70s-style sleeves were just amazing. I always wanted to become a bride that stood out slightly."
Polly and Jack met on the night out for a mutual friend's birthday.
"I wasn't likely to go that night as I wasn't feeling great but I forced myself to visit and I count the lucky stars that I did. When I met Jack, I felt like I had never laughed a lot with someone. There was an immediate connection and I felt so pleased to meet him. I messaged him first the following day (I couldn't watch for him to get it done) also it went after that."
"Jack proposed in my experience on 1 September 2019. He sent me on the spa day with my mum and sister and decorated our whole home with fairy lights, candles, and flowers – all my favorite things. He explained he desired to propose within our home while he knew just how much I loved coping with him. It is, so special. We were engaged just for over 2 yrs before the marriage." Click
The bridesmaids wore long, elegant rose gold bridesmaid dresses, all from FeelTimes.
"My bridesmaids wore their very own gold heels and I bought all of them pearl slides to put on in their hair."
The groom, groomsmen, and page boys looked dapper in tailored, navy and black check, three-piece suits, filled with orange bow ties.
Jack also wore cufflinks from Polly, inscribed with, 'Let's do that! I love you. Polly xx.
The Manor venue is beautifully decorated with numerous pumpkins, fairy lights, and flowers.
"Blume Lifestyle spray painted pumpkins gold and set them around the tables to compliment the pumpkins my mum bought. I also wanted orange drapes around the top table. She got my vision so well, sourced the material, and even put in fairy lights! When we arrived at the venue following the church it had been amazing to determine everything in place."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"My advice moving forward to any bride is your wedding may happen no matter when it's or how often you need to move it. At the end of the day, you plan to become with your lover for life and if the marriage doesn't happen today, it'll take place in due course. I actually miss planning the marriage so if you need to postpone. take in the excitement and planning time because once it's done, it's done."
