You'll never require more than bandos/ barrows for OSRS gold slayer tasks. If you need lvl 80 weapons I would suggest to buy chaotic weapons and use your money for other things. I think people should be able to only purchase the weapons at lv 90 when they've got cash on hand. But it's your choice.
With regard to bolts, it is possible to now attach any bolt to any bow. The compatibility issue has been removed. If you use level 80 royal bolts along with lv 70 crossbow, the bolts will have an amount of damage as if that they had level 70 bolts. If you own an offhand bow of level 60 and the mainhand bow, the mainhand bow will be capped at lv 70 bolt damage, while the offhand bow is capped at the level 60 damage. Anyway, I purchase Royals because they are cheapest therefore it's not a huge deal either way.
Ganodermics are quite good for many things magical. I tested this on beta and when you die they don't drop charge, as an added benefit. Keep an eye out for weapons that were previously equipped with special attacks, as those attacks are now back. See the combat beta for more details.
The stuff with added critical rates is pretty useless IMO. It's more about the accuracy and base damage than critical numbers. So, for instance it isn't quite as effective as an'skillcape' IMO.
I'm close to 90-90 flat right nowwith only about 2M range experiences stand between me and my goal. I recently bought a drygore mace, and have been waiting for an offhand version. I'm pretty much cleaned however, I'm forced to resort to the hybrid Warpriest gear.
What would be most profitable for me with my skills? (While also giving me an experience in competition) So far, I've heard Ascension Monsters Glacors, Automatons... What should I do to buy rs07 fire cape kill them?
