P2Pah: You must've been working difficult to get this out the out the.
Travis Day: Things are exceptionally smooth at present. We're actually feeling very good and we're quite good from a production standpoint. I began my initial planning of this and the complete plan for the patch program of Legion at the end of March or March...Part of our efforts is to get the process organized early and ensure we are able to meet the cadence that we have been working to reach in terms of getting the content out. And that's so we can avoid having to to some kind of crazy crunches or other similar like that.
I've talked to members of the team previously about this and it appears that you are able to keep up with this insane amount of content without killing yourselves and your entire team. How did you manage to maintain this pace?
TD: Of course, everybody sees me as the producer. (Laughs) I believe it's one of the reasons we've grown the team as we go along, so the team is continuously getting biggerand is able to, obviously, support more content. Another thing we've done is working on improving our abilities and improving the way we arrange these patches and how we develop for these patches.
So , the team is becoming more efficient and bigger. But when you have a product like WoW; some of us have been involved in console games in the past, and it's all set to the big day after which the whole team figures out the next steps. However, there's always something else to make a decision on the next step for WoW. There's always a huge important story to tell or a piece of content to create. Therefore, it's essential to us from a production standpoint, that we set a realistic and reasonable pace, both for the players and the dev team, because it's more of buy WOTLK Gold a marathon than just a sprint.
